Participant Consent, Media Release and Liability Waiver
By registering a child or participant under my care for the Roller Kings Speed Skating Competitions (4th Edition), I confirm that their parent (s)/guardian(s) have provided consent on their behalf to participate in this event. I confirm that I am legally authorized to make decisions regarding the child's participation in this event.
Competition Data, Player Profile and Consent
By registering for, or participating in, any Roller Kings competition, event, league, tournament, programme or related activity, I acknowledge and agree that Roller Kings may collect, use, record, store, organise, analyse, publish, disclose, share and otherwise process personal data, competition data and player profile information for the purposes set out in this clause and in Roller Kings' Privacy Notice.
For the purposes of this consent, "Competition Data" includes, but is not limited to, player registration details, player profiles, team and club affiliations, fixtures, match results, statistics, rankings, league tables, club standings, individual performances, playing history, awards, disciplinary records, photographs, audio recordings, video recordings, live scoring data, and any other information generated through participation in Roller Kings activities.
I expressly authorise Roller Kings to make Competition Data and player profile information available to, and permit access by, its partners, sponsors, officials, referees, member clubs, leagues, event organisers, governing bodies, affiliates, media organisations, broadcasters, technology providers, statisticians, researchers, scouts, commercial partners, service providers and other authorised third parties where such access is reasonably necessary for the administration, operation, promotion, development, integrity, reporting, analysis, historical record or commercial activities relating to Roller Kings and the sport.
I acknowledge and agree that Competition Data, player profiles, individual performance statistics, rankings, club standings, league tables, match reports, photographs and video recordings may be published or communicated through websites, mobile applications, live scoring platforms, social media channels, broadcasts, official publications and other digital or print media operated by or on behalf of Roller Kings or its authorised partners.
Roller Kings shall process personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2019 (Kenya) and any other applicable laws. Personal data shall only be processed for lawful, specific and legitimate purposes, and appropriate technical and organisational measures shall be implemented to safeguard such data.
Where I am registering on behalf of a participant who is under the age of eighteen (18) years, I represent and warrant that I am the participant's parent or legal guardian, or that I have lawful authority to register the participant and to provide the consents required under this registration. By completing the registration, I expressly provide consent on behalf of the minor to the collection, use, storage, publication, disclosure and other processing of the minor's personal data, Competition Data and player profile information as described in this clause and the Roller Kings Privacy Notice, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Where a participant reaches the age of eighteen (18) years, Roller Kings may require the participant to confirm or renew the relevant consents where required by applicable law.
Where processing is based on consent, I understand that consent may be withdrawn by contacting Roller Kings. Any withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing undertaken before the withdrawal and may limit or prevent participation where the processing is necessary for the administration, operation or integrity of Roller Kings competitions.
By submitting this registration, I confirm that I have read and understood this clause and the Roller Kings Privacy Notice, that the information provided is accurate to the best of my knowledge, and that I voluntarily provide the consents described above for myself or, where applicable, on behalf of the minor participant.

Media Consent
I acknowledge that photography, videography, and other media recording may take place during the event. In accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2019 of Kenya, I hereby grant consent to Roller Kings, its affiliates, partners, sponsors, and authorized third-party organizations to capture, process, store, use, reproduce, and publish images, video recordings, or other media of the participant for lawful promotional, educational, and marketing purposes for a period of not more than 10 years. These materials may be used without compensation on platforms including, but not limited to: social media channels, websites, digital marketing platforms, print publications, advertisements, and other online or offline promotional materials.

Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver
I understand that participation in speed skating and related sporting activities involves inherent risks of injury or accident. By allowing the participant to take part in this event, I voluntarily assume all such risks associated with participation. To the extent permitted under the laws of Kenya, I agree to release, waive, and hold harmless the organizers, directors, employees, coaches, volunteers, affiliates, sponsors, partners, and venue providers from any claims, demands, damages, or liabilities arising from injury, loss, accident, or incident that may occur during participation in the event.

7yrs - 12yrs: 100mm Maximum
13yrs and above: 110mm Maximum

By submitting my child's or my registration to participate in the Roller Kings Speed Skating Championship, 4th Edition, I confirm that I have read, understood, and consent to all the event guidelines and Roller Kings Terms & Conditions as outlined on this website.
